As a youth Jerome, (who in later years became known as Bud) worked in cotton fields and as
a farm hand. He worked as foreman overseeing a chain gang group in Georgia. He later dealt
in used automotive parts. (junk yard). He was a lover of flowers and fish, having a flower
garden and fish pond in his yard. He is buried in Ridgewood Cementery in Carthage,
Tennessee. His parents were Calvin Frazier and Verlyn Ficquett Almond. He was baptized on
Sept 7,1952, at The First Baptist Church in Carthage,Tn.
